Bill grew up in a small Northern New Mexico town active in sports, hunting, fishing, president of various organizations and an Eagle Scout. He attended the University of Colorado under a full Navy Scholarship and graduated with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a Regular Commission in the U.S. Navy. He was a Command duty officer and head of the Engineering Department on the Destroyer, U.S.S. Hollister. After receiving an early promotion, and considering career opportunities at the Naval Academy, Post Graduate School, and Nuclear Engineering, Bill elected to enter into the Space Race. Beginning as a project engineer, on the Titan rocket engines he went on to head several Space Programs including all Manned Maneuverable Spacecraft Planning for the Air Force and new a new form of rocket propulsion that he took through design, development and into space operations. The aerospace industry supported Bill as a candidate for the Scientist Astronaut Program. Bill was asked to join an effort to bring aerospace technology into the design and building of the first Navy combatant ship designed by private industry. He headed the system design effort for the 963 class destroyer leading to the successful award of the production contract. With a Master of Engineering degree from UCLA in management, Bill left the Aerospace Industry to start eight corporations and numerous small businesses with the focus on technology, marketing, innovation and profitability. These endeavors included: construction, service, manufacturing, consulting, and Christian Ministry. Bill's inventions span Aerospace, Ship Building, Automotive, Communications, and Energy industries. He has managed and directed Army, Navy, Air Force, NASA and Department of Energy programs.

Bill has been president/chairman of industry associations, manufacturer's associations and local and national committees and organizations. He has been a consultant to a variety of businesses and taught upper division Engineering at the University level. He currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife Sue who he met at the University of Colorado. Bill flies his own plane, sculpts in bronze and is very active in Christian ministry. His bronzes appear and have appeared in The White House, Oval Office, Arizona State Capitol, Presidential Libraries, Pentagon and are among various collectors. He was the chairman of a group of 20,000 Christian men dedicated to family and personal integrity, and is the founding president of a national prayer ministry involving over a million people committed to pray daily for our Nation and leaders.

Bill's interests can be netted down to three: family, Christian ministry and Country.
